Create Your Dream

Over this past weekend, I was in Melbourne for the annual Close To My Heart Australasian Convention! It was a fabulous few days of inspiration, creativity, learning, catching up with old friends and making new friends!

Each year at Convention, we are given the opportunity to enter a layout into a page layout competition. I like to enter as it stretches me! Whilst I was not a prize winner in this year's competition, I still feel a winner! There were so many fantastic layouts this year and I think we are all winners! The girls who did win were very deserving.

I want to share my layout with you. It features my gorgeous girl who is in her final year of high school, which is stressful for her (& us as parents at times too!)

Black, Juniper, Pewter & White Daisy CS, Gimme Some Sugar Paper Pack, Gimme Some Sugar Paper Pack, Inspire Complements, Gold Glitter Gems, Gold Heart Clips, White & Gold Twine, D1768 - He is the Way Stamp Set, C1713 - Notes of Inspiration Stamp Set, D1733 - splash of Colour Stamp Set, D1729 - Colourblock Alphabet Stamp Set, Heather Ink Pad, Block Letters Thin Cuts, You Are Here CC, Artistry CC,Artbooking CC, Flower Market CC, Glue dots, Thin 3D Foam Tape, Watercolour Pencils

I {HEART} Travel

The Annual Close To My Heart Australasian Convention is on this week and I have been looking forward to it for quite some time now! One of the perks of being a CTMH Independent Consultant is that we get to attend this fabulous event, catch up with old friends, make new friends and, most of all, get to see & 'play with' NEW product! (I will share some of that with you soon!)

One of the other things that excites me about Convention, is that we have the opportunity to share some of our creations with those attending and to see what others create!

For a while now, I have wanted to create some samplers using the fabulous CTMH product range, so that is what I did for my display for this year's convention!

This is one of the projects I created - not so much a sampler as a memory board for my daughter who loves to travel!
To create this board, I used White Daisy & Black cardstock, Whimsy Fundamentals, Adventure Fundamentals, Enchantment Fundamentals, Basics Fundamentals, Silver Foil Paper, Blue Burlap Ribbon, You Are Here Cricut Cartridge, Artistry Cricut Cartridge, Glue Dots, Thin 3D Foam Tape & 3D Foam Tape. I have used the separated strands of the Burlap Ribbon to show some of the places Ali has travelled to!

Check back again soon to see the other samplers that I created and what is NEW!

My inspiration for this Triple Slider Card came from Pinterest. I used  White Daisy & Sapphire cardstock, Z4157 - Stargazer Cardmaking Stamp & Thin Cuts set, Black Memento Ink Pad, Canary Ink Pad, ShinHan Twin Touch Markers, Blue Burlap Ribbon, Glue Dots,  & Thin 3D Foam Tape.

S1803 - Birthday Time Australasian Blog Hop

Welcome to our S180 Birthday Time Stamp of the Month Australasian Blog Hop! If you arrived from Vandra's blog, you are on the right track. If you arrived here by accident, then I hope you will hop around all the blogs and see what everyone has created using our March Stamp of the Month - Birthday Time!

This month I have created a double page layout using the NEW Make If From the Heart Vol 3 Pattern Book. This layout is based Pattern 7, and was created using White Daisy Cardstock, Enchantment Fundamentals, Enchantment Ribbon Pack, Silver Shimmer Trim, S1803 - Birthday Time Stamp Set, Ruby & Sapphire Ink Pads, Thin 3D Foam Tape, Glue Dots

I stamped this image twice - in Sapphire & Ruby, then cut the Ruby piece and added it on top of the Sapphire piece.

To keep the Ruby going throughout the layout, I stamped the age in Ruby next to the Sapphire sentiment.

The bi-coloured effect was achieved by using the rock and roll technique using Ruby & Sapphire ink pads.

This layout is based on the layout on page 75 SE 1, 2018, and was created using White Daisy, Sapphire & Ruby Cardstock, Stargazer Paper Pack, Blue Burlap Ribbon, S1803 - Birthday Time Stamp Set, D1733 - splash of Colour Stamp set, Pebble, Ruby, & Sapphire Ink Pads, Stargazer Dots.

This card was created using White Daisy & Sapphire Cardstock, Stargazer Paper Pack, Basic Tags Thin Cuts, Black Memento Ink Pad, Sapphire Ink Pad, ShinHan Markers, White & Gold Twine, Thin 3D Foam Tape. You could add any age on the tags and even change up the colours and papers for different effects.

The March Stamp of the Month, S1803 - Birthday Time is only available this month - March 2018! You can get the stamp for just $7.50 set by spending $75.00 with your consultant or your can purchase it for $27.00.  If you don't have a consultant, you can contact me here!

I would love you to leave a comment before continuing on to see what Doris has created.

Come back soon and see what else is NEW and what I have been creating.
